Aya Project

Help us build mobile medicine cabinets for families in rural villages. Basic medical supplies are lacking in homes across the country. When a child gets hurt, families have to travel a long distance to receive care at the nearest hospital or medical clinic that they need. Aya Project is working with providers in the Ivory Coast to supply families with these basic care supplies at home. We will distribute these "mobile Medicine Kits" during our mission in July. We are collecting the following supplies to be used in to make the kits. We are also looking for clubs, teams, or organizations to sponsor our "mobile medicine cabinets" this would make a great service-learning project!

Our goal this year is to gift 25 or more kits to those in need!

Items To Be Collected - Each Kit Will Contain

Acetaminophen OR Ibuprofen (Jr. or Reg. strength, tablets)

Box of Adhesive Bandages - any sizes 

Anti-Diarrhea Over the counter 
Triple Antibiotic Ointment 
1% Hydrocortisone Cream
Toothbrushes (min. 4)
Hand sanitizer (travel-sized)
Elastic Bandage
Safety Pins
Comb
Facial Tissues (travel-sized)
Blunt Scissors
Tweezers

Bar Soap

Nail Clippers (no manicure sets please)

Nylon Sling Backpacks - (we have bags for purchase for $2.00 each that are the perfect size for these kits)

Make sure you label your bags with your name and email address on them and we will take a photo of your bag recipient and email it to you after the trip!
