Yopougon PEACE Tournament 2016

Aya project held our 3rd Peace Tournament in Macroy on December 30 & 31st! The tournament brought together players and the community for 2 days of peaceful play. We had four teams battling for the title of the PEACE tournament champions. Each team that took part received trophies and medals, awards were also given for sportsmanship, and an MVP.

Our event took place right in the heart of the community in the middle of the road! You can see in some of the photos how hard the players worked on the game and preparing for the event. During our finals we had the pleasure of dance presentations from 2 dance groups in the neighborhood and a local DJ donated he's music and worked as the announcer for our event! It was a great day!

We will be hosting another soccer event here in July, and we are looking to include more teams into the event.

Thank- You Fulton Youth Soccer for the jersey donation our red was proud to wear them! Thank you to the PEACE Passers all of our game balls for this event came from the Peace Passer as well as those that choose to wear socks during the event! We are so thankful for all of our donations and are looking forward to continuing these events in the future!
