Marjory Hospital Mommy And Baby Bag Project
During our mission in December, we had the privilege of visiting the bustling OB department at Macrory Hospital. Our team met with the dedicated nurses and physicians of the department and had the opportunity to present them with much-needed equipment—a new fetal Doppler monitor and an electric baby scale. Additionally, we engaged in discussions with the staff about the ongoing needs of mothers and babies in the community, brainstorming ways in which Aya Project can offer support in the future.
However, the highlight of the day for Aya Project was delivering the 20 Mommy & Baby Bags, generously sponsored by supporters of our project. Each bag was carefully curated to provide essential items for both mothers and babies. From three months' worth of prenatal vitamins for the moms to baby blankets, toys, manicure sets, hair brushes, socks, onesies, and small stuffed toys, every bag was filled with love and care. The mothers were overjoyed with the bags and appreciated all the goodies they received.
Looking ahead, we are committed to continuing our support for Macrory Hospital. We plan to return with more supplies that the hospital is in great need of, ensuring that mothers and babies receive the care and resources they deserve. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who made this meaningful initiative possible. Your support truly makes a difference in the lives of these families.
